Insight Hospital and Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program

Welcome from our DIO

Welcome to the future home of the Insight Hospital & Medical Center Coldwater Family Medicine Residency Program.

We are excited to share the development of our new residency program as we move through the application process. As part of our commitment to training exceptional family physicians for rural and underserved communities, we are also exploring the opportunity to pursue Rural Track Distinction as the program evolves.

While our program is still in development, we invite prospective residents, medical students, faculty, and community members to follow our progress and visit this site regularly for updates. Over the coming months, we will continue to expand our curriculum, clinical training opportunities, faculty leadership, and program information.

Our goal is to achieve ACGME accreditation and welcome our inaugural class of residents during the 2027-2028 academic year.

Thank you for your interest in our program and for joining us on this exciting journey as we build the next generation of family medicine physicians dedicated to serving rural communities.

Training for Rural Communities

Rural communities play a vital role in the health and well-being of our nation, yet many continue to face challenges in accessing healthcare services and recruiting physicians.  Through our Family Medicine Residency Program, Insight Hospital & Medical Center

Coldwater is committed to developing physicians who are prepared to meet the unique healthcare needs of rural populations.

For the Coldwater community and surrounding rural areas, this commitment represents an investment in the future of local healthcare. By training physicians in the communities they serve, residency programs can help strengthen the healthcare workforce, improve access to care, and support the long-term health of rural residents.

Our vision is to develop family physicians who are not only clinically excellent but also deeply connected to the communities they serve, helping ensure that high-quality healthcare remains accessible for generations to come.
